Helical Gear Cutting
We cut helical, double-helical, and herringbone gears up to 63" OD, where the opposed helices cancel thrust and run smoother and quieter than spur gears under the same load. Every gear is cut to print for new applications, or reverse-engineered from a worn sample for a rebuild.

Helix angles up to 30° with tight lead and index control. Large capacity up to 63″ OD and 10″ face on dedicated machines. Matched double-helical sets for accurate center alignment and zero net thrust.
