Housing Covers

A housing or cover sets the bore alignment the whole gearbox assembles to, so its faces and bores have to be square and located or the shafts it carries run out. We manufacture and machine clutches, couplings, housings, and covers in steel, hardened steel, stainless, cast iron, and bronze, with spline and keyway broaching, drilling, tapping, grinding, and 5-axis machining of special shapes.

Every part is built to print for new applications, or reverse-engineered from a worn sample when a gearbox is going back into service. We handle the large, heavy housings that come with full-size industrial gearboxes.
