Sprockets

A sprocket has to hold bore concentricity to its teeth, because an eccentric sprocket tightens and slackens the chain once per revolution and wears the whole drive. We machine custom sprockets up to 72" OD in steel, hardened steel, stainless, cast iron, and bronze, with ground, unground, plain, splined, or keyed bores, plus special keyways, non-stock bores, tapped holes, and heat treatment.

Every sprocket is built to print for new applications, or reverse-engineered from a worn sample for a rebuild. We size them for the large drives most catalog suppliers don't stock.
