Helical Gears

Double-helical and herringbone sets are where large-gear work gets demanding, and where we do our best work. We cut internal and external helical, double-helical, and herringbone gears through hobbing, shaping, and grinding, including matched sets aligned for accurate center alignment and zero net thrust.

Each set is sized for heavy industrial drives, built to print for new applications or reverse-engineered from a worn sample for a rebuild. We machine them in annealed, hardened, and stainless steel, along with other ferrous and nonferrous materials.
