Bevel Shafts
A bevel shaft carries its gear and shaft as one part, and in a heavy drive it has to take load and stay true under it. We machine straight bevel shafts in fine and coarse pitches, with ratios from 1:1 to 1:10 and a coniflex or conventional bearing pattern.
Every shaft is built to print for new work, or reverse-engineered from a worn sample when the original is obsolete. We machine them in annealed, hardened, and stainless steel, along with other ferrous and nonferrous materials.
